From 2005 to 2007, Sugar Sugar Studio was approached to teach Creative Skincare Workshops to the Jane and Finch Community and Family Centre for the "Women Moving Forward" project facilitated by "Woman of Distinction" 2005 award recipient, Tonika Morgan. This five-year collaboration, with the goal of providing an integrated program for single and unemployed women between the ages of 20-29, hopes to lead young women to economic self-sufficiency. This program is funded by The Geoffrey H. Wood Foundation and the Ontario Trillium Foundation
Since 2004, Sugar Sugar Body Sugaring Studio has been featured in the Toronto Life yearly promotional booklet, and gained attention in 2007 for Eyebrow Design by producers of the television series Cosmetic Innovations, airing on the A-Channel and The Fashion Television Network in the 2006/07 season
We were also fortunate to be part of Canada's Multi-Cultural Wedding Show in November 2007, winning "Best Booth" recognition in the Aesthetics Category |
